ini services for ini members

 

ini offers its services only to candidates who have successfully applied for ini membership.

 

Who may apply for ini membership ? 

 

Due to high linguistic requirements at international organisations, only highly qualified linguists may become ini members. All ini members share the passion for real communication and international understanding.

 

At the moment, ini is looking for

 

Arabic / Chinese / English / French / Russian / Spanish

native speakers (university graduates)

with a relevant language combination

 

who are already well qualified in interpretation or at least motivated to improve their skills. Candidates should also be interested in international affairs and related topics. 

 

Which language combinations are relevant ?

 

Arabic and Chinese native speakers must know English very well.

 

English native speakers must know two of the following languages very well: French, Russian, Spanish.

 

French native speakers must know English and either Russian or Spanish very well.  

 

Russian native speakers must know English and either French or Spanish very well.

 

And Spanish native speakers must know English and either French or Russian very well.  

Applying for ini membership

 

Interested candidates send their CV and certificates to the ini secretariat which reviews these documents. Promising candidates are asked to write an essay about a topic relatedto international relations. In the following interview, this essay is discussed. Then candidates participate in an interpretation test. Successful participants may become ini members.
